David points to a new conference on Topological & Geometric Graph Theory to be held May 19-23 at École Normale Supérieure in Paris, France. The conference has already lined up a truly impressive list of invited speakers. The deadline for submitting 4-page abstracts is December 31, 2007.

hm ... as a typographical convention, you should write "Εcole normale supérieure", since both "normale" and "supérieure" are supposed to be adjectives in the official name, whereby the apocryphal "Ecole dite normale réputée supérieure". It's all french to us, though.

I was in Paris on the 20th December last year and the weather was superb. Bright sunshine, which took us to the Monet Panoramic exhibition in the Orangery (Tuillery Gardens).
